Kampala, 17th April 2020 - The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has certified ten thirty eight (38) companies to produce sanitizers as of 17th April 2020. This is aimed at protecting consumers from buying sanitisers that do not comply with standards and are harmful to their health, in the wake of COVID-19.
The 38 companies are producing 43 brands of sanitizers as listed below;
