Nkwanga Joachim Charles is the Manager, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) responsible for developing and implementing Information and Communication Technologies strategy to enable UNBS stakeholders to access information and tools required for UNBS’ operations and services.
Charles is an ICT professional with over 10 years’ experience in software development, computer application packages, operating systems networking, and ICT Management. He holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from Nkumba University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and Computing from Kyambogo University. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), Oracle 9i/10g DBA Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), and a Certified Information Systems Security Profession (CISSP) training. Prior to his appointment, he was the IT Manager, National Forestry Authority (NFA) where he was in charge of managing information technology infrastructure, architecture, systems, networks, software and resources across multiple platforms.
